The '64 Light Motorcycle is a hand-built, ultralight cafe racer designed for urban commuting or small town joyriding. Consider this the ultimate moped or motor scooter, boasting the looks of a proper motorcycle and the superior, exciting handling and ride style that come with it.

Your daily commute becomes a playful cruise, a trip to the coffee shop is now an opportunity to explore the neighbourhood, and you do it all without burning a drop of gasoline.

What You Need to Know Before You Ride

Your '64 LM is similar to a Moped, but has a few key differences.

What is an LM?

• Road Legal Motorcycle
• 50 mph Top Speed
• No Pedals
• Meets All States Regulations

Mandatory Requirements for ALL U.S. States:

• Motorcycle License Requirement: You must have a valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement, or a standalone motorcycle license, to operate this LM.
• Mandatory Insurance: LM insurance is required in all states
• Vehicle Registration: The '64 LM must be registered
• Helmet Mandatory: Always wear a DOT or ECE-approved helmet when riding
• Minimum Age: Operator must be 18 years+ (16+ in some states with proper licensing)

Where You Can Ride:

• Stick to roads - no bike lanes, sidewalks, or bike paths
• Highway use may be restricted for LMs, depending on state regulations
• Follow all the regular traffic rules (just like in a car)
• Don't drink and ride - same penalties apply

Every '64 LM is hand-assembled by our employees at the Beachman HQ in North America, where you can come see the magic happen and even test out a bike for yourself fresh off the assembly line.

All '64 e-bike accessories are cross-compatible with the LM (including the side car!) however some may not be able to be installed from the factory due to DOT non-compliance.

Return Policy: There are no returns after bikes are delivered. If you purchase a '64 LM then decide you would like to refund your purchase before your bike is manufactured, a $500 restocking fee applies.
